First time visit. The service was great. We arrived 1pm and got a table outside right away on Sat. They have brunch, lunch and regular menu. Lots of choices of food. The food came all together very quickly and delicious. The inside of restaurant is classic and family oriented.

Everything was great only thing I wound change is the table we were seated at. I would have liked to have a table in the main dining room area. The food was good, the service was good at the time we were at the restaurant. (1:30pm-2:30pm). Just the side room were our table was at was not as inviting as the other areas of the restaurant.

Fishouse is a local favorite of Santa Barbara. Everything I've ever had here has been delicious and fresh! Today, we went and shared the rockfish ceviche. The citrus combined with the jalapeños and other fresh vegetables make the rockfish a great appetizer to start off any meal! I had the local sea bass. It was cooked to perfection and the herb crust along with the herb butter sauce made it a great dinner entree. That and a blood orange margarita was a great combo. I have to give a shout-out to our waiter, Lucas. He was attentive and check on us throughout our meal, making sure everything was going well. The place was packed and he took great care of us! Everything about the FisHouse makes it feel like Santa Barbara. From the design of the restaurant and look and feel of the inside. Anyone looking for true Santa Barbara experience as well as great seafood should ld this place out.

Yes, Santa Barbara Fishouse is expensive, has long lines, no reservations, and few outdoor tables. But it is WELL worth it, and I eat here every time I'm in SB. The food is delicious, uni is spectacular, view is outstanding, and service is friendly! Know what you are getting when you put your name on the list. Unless you are here often, wait the extra time to get an outdoor table. Go treat yourself. You could bite off your tongue tomorrow and never taste again Best bites: Uni scallops, a must try Lobster Shrimp and crab Louis salad Oysters Other bites: If I have to nitpick, I like my beer colder than served here

There are plenty of amazing food options and endless options in the nearby Funk Zone but after seeing a delicious salmon option, I came to FisHouse! They have a dedicated parking lot behind their restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. I came around a happy hour time of 3pm so hostess kindly offered bar or table dining option. I don't solo dine often but this time came solo and they seated me at a lovely table outside overlooking the wharf and Main Street. My waitress was friendly and quick! Skuna Bay Salmon plate included garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables with a lemon slice. The salmon was tender and cooked perfectly. Veggies and mashed potatoes were in perfect quantity with the salmon. I did also mention to my waitress that I was gluten free and she made sure to personally inform the staff which made my dining experience much more comfortable as well. It really was an excellent meal! View was great. Food was great. Parking was easy. What else can you ask for?

Great fish house right next to the ocean! Spent the day in Santa Barbara and enjoyed happy hour here with my husband. We wanted to go somewhere next to the ocean and this looked like a great place. We stopped in for happy hour which is first come first serve for seating and nabbed a spot. Happy hour definitely seems busy so come early to guarantee your spot. Note they also have inside and outside seating. We really wanted to sit outside but nothing was open at the time so we got an inside table next to the door. On the other side of the of restaurant they have the fancier restaurant menu and it has more of an upscale vibe. Happy hour was perfect for us and the food was all reasonably priced and portions were big! We enjoyed the calamari, fish and chips, and fish/shrimp tacos. Definitely recommend checking it out for happy hour!
